Baccarat Cut Crystal Comfit Box

Cut and etched crystal box with shepherd scene, attributed to Baccarat France.  The box is cross-hatched cut on all four sides, with an etched pastoral scene on the cover depicting a shepherd with his sheep and dog and the underside is cut in a radiating starburst pattern.  The gilt metal frame and hinge are decorated with an acanthus leaf motif and laurel wreath handle.

6 1/2” (16.5cm) by 4 1/4” (10.8cm), 5 1/8” (13cm) high.
