Amethyst Baccarat Crystal Lamp

A stunning 19th century design, Baccarat amethyst crystal lamp with ormolu mounts.  The crystal body of the lamp is intricately cut in a fine cross-hatched pattern, with heavy ormolu mounts including impressive rams head handles and claw foot bracket feet.

The mounts were made in Austria.  

The original purple paper shade is in great condition, featuring a hand painted ribbon and bow in gold.

14” (35.5cm) high to the top of the crystal,

6” (15.3cm) wide at the rams head mounts.

27 1/2” (69.9cm) high to the top of the shade.

The shade only is 13” (33cm) high, 13 1/4” (33.6cm) diameter at the base.
