Jugendstil WMF cut glass and silver plate frame vase, circa 1900.

This unique vase has the ordinal cut glass insert, on a stylized grape and vine frame.

Jugendstil, is the German form of Art Nouveau.  Trademarked WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwaremfabrik) EP (electro-plated) made for export to the English speaking market (United Kingdom and the USA), mark used circa 1895-1903.  The I/0 is the symbol for the usual thickness of silver on a plated item.

 7 1/2” (19cm) high, 6 3/4” (17.1cm) across the handles.
