Meriden Sterling Silver Centrepiece / Rose Bowl

Sterling silver presentation / centrepiece bowl, made by Meriden Britannia of Meriden, Connecticut.  Meriden introduced their sterling silver line in 1895, which was absorbed into the International Silver Company in 1898.  The trademark continued to be used into the 1930’s.

The classic Georgian inspired bowl is beautifully decorated with engraved garlands of flowers, raised on a graduated pedestal foot.  The bowl does not have monograms or presentation engravings.
