HM Queen Victoria and the Royal Family engraving, illustrated by Sir Matthew White Ridley (1837-88) published in 1877.  It was a supplement in Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper, later renamed Leslie’s Weekly.  This extensive family group comes with a very useful detailed “who’s who” key.

The supplement is handsomely framed in a contemporary but traditional styled frame.
