Mid-Century Modern Sterling Silver Birds, Taxco Mexico

Mid-century modern sterling silver birds, made in Taxco, Mexico.  The birds are sterling silver mounted on agate stone bodies, the blue inserts on the feathers are pieces of turquoise set in enamel.

Impressed marks:

TAXCO MEXICO (partially rubbed) 925 around LED or FED

2 1/2” (6.4cm) high, 3 1/2” (8.9cm) beak to tail feathers, 

one is 3 3/4” (9.5cm) across the wing span and the other is 4 1/4” (10.8cm)
