Product Details

English sterling silver bud vases hallmarked London 1897, made in celebration of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897.  The trademark of GJ over DF in a shield is for Josiah Williams & Co. (George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton) of Three Queens Lane, Bristol and Thavies Inn, London EC.

The vases are elaborately decorated with shell and floral motifs on a flared foot.  The reticulated top emulates roses on a trellis, with “V crown R”, for Victoria Regina, Queen Victoria.  The vases have a blank roundel suitable for engraving.
