Art Nouveau Art Glass Inkwell

Art Nouveau Bohemian attributed art glass inkwell with brass collar and hinged lid.  The organic design incorporated an iridescent finish on a lime green body, streaked with vertical red veins.

The inside of the lid is identified:

2 3/8” (6cm) high, 4” (10.2cm) diameter at the base.

*This refers to the german language patent on the metal component parts of the inkwell.  Oe is Oesterreich Patent, D.R.P. is Deutsches Reichspatent and D.R.G.M. is Deutches Reichs Gebrauchsmuster, all various patent requirements observed in Germany and Austria from the 1890s to 1945.  “Hansa” is the German word for guild.
