Edwardian era sterling silver inkstand and stamp box, hallmarked London 1902.  

From the silversmiths George Betjemann & Sons of Pentonville Road, London N1.

The unique design incorporates an inkwell, stamp box and pen rest.  The lower compartment is ample storage for additional small writing supplies, such as pen nibs.  The original glass inkwell liner is intact with minor chips.  The frame that holds the stamps is gold washed and the base of the inkstand is wood.

4 1/4” (10.8cm) by 2 7/8” (7.4cm), 3“ (7.6cm) high
