Sterling silver double inkwell & stand, English hallmarks for Sheffield 1919.

Made in England by the prolific silversmith firm of William Hutton & Sons Ltd. of West Street, Sheffield, Hanley Street, Birmingham and Farringdon Road, London, England.  The grand double inkwell is set on a raised stand with scrolled feet, with an ornately reticulated gallery with a gadroon edge rim.  The inkwells are in excellent condition.

11 1/2” (29.3cm) by 7” (17.8cm), 2 1/2” (6.4cm) high to the top of the gallery.
