Clarice Cliff “Bizarre” jardiniere.

In Cliff’s usual exuberance for colour and form, this jardiniere is moulded with abstract shapes and exuberantly hand painted bright colours.

From Wilkinson Potteries, Burslem, England, early 1930s.

There is a small hairline crack, barely noticeable without close inspection.

9” (22.9cm) diameter, 3 1/2” (8.9cm) high.
