Nippon cabinet vase with unusual lavender ground.

The vase has hand painted floral sprays in panels on all four sides with gilded detailing throughout.

Marked Nippon, made in Japan for export to the western market, circa 1910.

9” (23cm) high.

4 1/2” (11.5cm) by 5 1/8” (13cm) across the shoulders.
