Enamelled Opaline Scent Bottle In Original Leather Case

Exquisite enamelled opaline scent bottle, in a fitted leather case, France and Netherlands, mid-19th century.  The scent bottle is enamelled opaline glass, (attributed to France) with sprays of multi-coloured flowers and the original glass stopper is intact.  

The gold hinged cap and collar both have the punch mark of an oak leaf in an oval cartouche, the mark for 14kt gold from the Netherlands, used 1852-1906.

The hinged tooled leather case is cloth lined and in good condition.

The scent bottle is 4” (10.2cm) high and the leather case is 4 1/4” (10.8cm) high.
