Empire style birds eye solid maple framed mirror, made by the Ashton Furniture Workshop, Ottawa, ON, circa 1980.   Birds eye / curly maple hardwood was a 19th century favourite for furniture makers in Ontario.  The Ashton Furniture Workshop specialized in hand crafted, traditional quality furniture.

The mirror can be hung horizontally or vertically.

33 5/8” (85.4cm) by 25 3/4” (65.4cm), the frame is 3 1/2” (8.9cm) wide.
