Boxed Sterling Silver Fruit Knives Dated 1958

English sterling silver fruit knives, hallmarked Sheffield 1958.  The knife handles are sterling silver, from the silversmith William Yates Ltd of Rockingham Street, Sheffield, with Sheffield steel blades.

The knives are in good condition, the blades are sharp and are without monograms or presentation engravings.  Complete with a thoughtful message to Jane & David dated 28th May, 1960; perhaps a wedding gift, all in the original presentation box.

The knives are 6 3/4” (17.2cm) long.

The box is 7 7/8” (20cm). y 6 1/4” (15.9cm), 1” (2.5cm) high.
