Edwardian era Albany pattern silver plate fish service for 12, circa 1900-1910.
Albany was a popular late 19th/early 20th century flatware design, made in silver plate and sterling silver by many different English silversmith companies. This set is marked EPNS, Electro-Plate Nickel Silver. The fish service is in exceptional condition and in the original oak presentation box. The cover of the box has an inlaid shield shape brass cartouche that is suitable for engraving.
The fork is 6 7/8”(17.5cm) long.
The knife is 8” (20.3cm) long.
The box is 10” (25.4cm) by 14” (35.5cm), 2 1/4” (5.7cm) high.
