Mid-Century Modern Georg Jensen sterling silver flatware, “Cypress” pattern.  The bold pattern was introduced in 1954 by the Norwegian industrial designer Mathias Gerhard “Tias” Eckhoff (1926-2016).  Eckhoff won the competition to design a flatware pattern in honour of Jensen’s 50th anniversary in business.  The pattern was discontinued circa 1994.
 

This large set is comprised of 12 place settings of 6 pieces per place setting, plus 5 serving pieces.

The handsome box to accommodate it all is available separately.
