William IV sterling silver Christening cup.  English hallmarks for London 1830, by the prestigious silversmith firm of Joseph Angell I & John Angell I.  Multiple generations of the Angell family were prolific silversmiths throughout most of the 19th century.

Designed with a slightly flared rim over a bulbous lower body with chased acanthus leaves, rising from a pedestal foot, with a S scroll handle.
