Birks Sterling Silver Box Dated 1946

Birks sterling silver box with cedar lining, suitable for a desk or dressing table, for him or her.  Made and retailed by Birks (Henry Birks & Sons) of Montreal, Canada, with the Birks date letter for 1946.  The straightforward design is decorated only with a decorative, stylized monogram “ND” in a circle.

6 1/2” (16.5cm) by 3 3/8” (8.5cm), 2 1/4” (5.7cm) high.  The top is slightly domed.
