Continental Silver Basket With Putto

Product Details

Antique Continental silver basket attributed to Hanau, Germany, circa 1880-1900.  The basket depicts a panel of a putto on all four sides, decorated with garlands of flowers, with the original cut glass liner.  The liner is removable and the handle is hinged.

5” (12.7cm) high, 9 1/2” (24.2cm) high to the top of the handle, 5 1/2” (14cm) square.
