English Sterling Silver Box Dated 1948

Product Details

English sterling silver box with cedar lining.  Suitable for a desk or dressing table, for him or her.  Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1948, made by the silversmith W T Toghill Co. of Vyse Street, Birmingham.

The striped engine turned engraving on the chamfered edge cover nicely frames the central rectangle, engraved in Script “SK”.  The box is in excellent condition and the engraving could be covered.

6 1/2” (16.5cm) by 3 1/2” (8.9cm), 2 1/4” (5.7cm) high.
