Early Victorian sterling silver “Fiddle” pattern grape scissors.  English hallmarks for London 1842, from the silversmiths Henry Holland (of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater).  

The classically elegant Fiddle pattern has been an English favourite since the Georgian era.  Crested with a young rampant stag holding a five pointed star, over the initial “C”, engraved in Old English script.
