Antique WMF Cheese Dish

Product Details

Antique WMF silver plate and glass cheese dish.  Made by WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwaremfabrik), Germany.  Trademarked with the symbol of an ostrich in a rhombus within a fully scored arch over WMF/G; trademark used circa 1909-20.  The hinged cover reveals an inner glass tray.  The cheese dome is in very good condition with a very small 1/4” crack on one corner and one tiny chip.  Wear consistent with age and use.

9 1/4” (23.5cm) by 7 1/8” (18.1cm), 4 1/2” (11.5cm) high.
