19th century 958 Fine Silver gallery tray, made in Portugal. Portuguese state marks identify this substantial tray as being from Oporto, made in the years between 1843 and 1853.
The pierced gallery is designed in an interlocking weave, with stylized palm leafs connecting to the ribbed handles. Monogrammed in the center TGM in Script.
The silver top and gallery are supported on a pine base, rising from four silver bun feet.
