Edwardian era Minton bone china “Japonica” pattern trefoil serving dish, made exclusively for retail by Ryrie Brothers in Toronto, Canada. A Japanese inspired design and the English passion for exotic flowers are beautifully rendered on this serving piece. Enamelled by hand and finished with a resplendent turquoise border.
The base is trademarked stamped for Mintons and Ryrie Bros. Ltd. Toronto, and painted in red, B 893 B. B 893 being the Mintons pattern number, registered circa 1912/3.
The symmetrical three sectioned dish is complete with a braided twist form handle.
