English silver plate covered round entree dish, made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield and London exclusively for Harrods Ltd. of London, circa 1930.
The internal drain tray over the solid tray allows the entree to remain heated with the addition of hot water in the very bottom compartment. The serving piece can be used with or without the internal trays.
The plating is worn on the lower of the internal trays; wear consistent with age and use.
10 1/8” (25.7cm) diameter of the dish only.
