George III sterling silver table garniture set, hallmarked for London 1812 from the workshop of John Houle. This grand Regency set is handsomely crested on one side of all five pieces. Comprised of one oblong pedestal bowl and four smaller oblong bowls, all five rising from a pedestal foot with ribbed fluting on the lower register and graceful rolled ends.
The large bowl is 15 1/2” (39.3cm) by 7 1/2” (19cm), 6 3/4” (17.2cm) high.
The smaller bowls rare 6 1/2” (16.5cm) by 3” (7.6cm), 3 1/2” (8.9cm) high.
