RPM Porcelain Tureens

Product Details

Opulent pair of gilded white porcelain tureens, made by RPM of Germany, circa 1960. 

RPM is the abbreviation for Royal Porzellan-Manufaktur of Kups, Germany, established in 1955.  RPM was known for recreating Paris Porcelain styles of the 19th century.

Both tureens have the impressed number 6529, likely a design or model number.  They are stamped “RPM” in blue and have the original foil paper label on the bottom. 

The tureens are in excellent condition!

10 1/4” (26cm) by 8 1/2” (21.5cm), 8” (20.3cm) high.

$795 for the pair.

 

Used in “Priscilla”, the feature film directed by Sofia Coppola, based on the memoir “Elvis and Me”, written by Priscilla Presley.  

The film was shot in Toronto, October-December 2022.

The world premiere was at the Venice Film Festival, September 4, 2023.  

The North American premiere will be at the New York Film Festival October 6, 2023, with expected wide release in North America in late October, 2023.
