Victorian silver plate meat dome with unusual crown handle and gadroon and shell border.  Possibly a royalty commemorative for Queen Victoria’s 50th or 60th Jubilee years, in 1887 or 1897.  English, late 19th century.

The silver plating is on a heavy copper base and the dome has a substantial weight for its small size.  The dome is in excellent condition with no wear or presentation engravings.

10 3/8” (26.4cm) by 7 7/8” (20cm), 7” (17.8cm) high.
