WMF Jugendstil Covered Punch Bowl And Ladle, circa 1903-10

Impressive WMF Jugendstil covered punch bowl and ladle.   

Trademarked with symbol of an ostrich in a rhombus in a rectangle WMF/G, as and I/O.  This mark is for WMF, Wurttembergische Metallwaremfabrik, circa 1903-10, made in Germany.  The “as” is the mark for antique silver, indicating that it was finished with a darkened patina and “I/O” is the normal thickness of the silver on the base metal.

The frame, cover and ladle are silver plate with the original cut glass insert. 

It is in mint condition!

14 1/2” (36.8cm) high, 10 1/4” (26cm) width across the handles.

The ladle is 14 1/4” (36.2cm) long.
