Victorian silver plate spoon warmer, English, circa 1880.

The spoon warmer is in the form of a nautilus shell with a hinged cover, rising from a  coral branch pedestal, on a rock base with a finger grip.

Trademarked on the hinged cover R&B S EP

for Roberts & Belk Sheffield Electro Plate.  The partnership of Samuel Roberts & Charles Belk of Sheffield, England used this trademark from 1863 to 1901 when they became a Limited company.
