Victorian silver plate meat dome. The dome has numerous hand engraved and cast decorative elements, including a wide band of Celtic influenced interlocking knots, a three pointed panel of engraved leaves surrounding an empty roundel suitable for engraving, and heavy bead border at the base. The dome was produced by the silver firm of Roberts & Belk (Samuel Roberts and Charles Belk) of Sheffield, England, circa 1880.
Some surface wear, consistent with age and use.
