Victorian silver plated roll top breakfast server, English, circa 1890.
Trademarked T.W in an oval, which was used by both Thomas Woolley of Birmingham (1887-97) and Thomas White of Sheffield (1872-91).
The dome is decorated with a frieze of S and C scrolls with a central blank shield suitable for a presentation engraving. Complete with both internal trays, and the plating is in good condition.
21st century uses for breakfast servers are asparagus servers, entree dishes, bread baskets, guest bathroom hand towels and for the vanity counter; a perfect wedding gift!
