Victorian Sterling Silver Salt Cellars & Spoons Dated 1884

Product Details

Victorian sterling silver salt cellars and matched spoons, hallmarked Birmingham 1884.  The salt cellars and spoons are from the silversmith Horace Woodward & Co. (Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor).  They are presented in the original box, retailed by G. Wilson Barrett & Co. Ltd of 18 Piccadilly, London.  The salt cellar interiors and salt spoon bowls have the original gold wash.  The set is in very good condition with minor wear only to the box.

The salt cellars are 1 1/4” (3.2cm) diameter, 7/8” (2.2cm) high.

The spoons are 2” (5.1cm) long.

The box is 4 5/8” (11.7cm) by 2 1/2” (6.4cm), 1 7/8” (4.8cm) high.
