Dramatic Art Deco pottery vase,  by L. Rossat for Marcel Guillard, France, circa 1925-30.

The body of the vase is a cylinder of graduated steps in a mottled pink/red ground, over a highly stylized frieze of flowers in blue and green, with a crackle glaze throughout.

A Marcel Guillard (1896-1932) for Editions Etling, Paris: An Art Deco vase, impressed trademarks on the base:  FRANCE, EDITIONS ETLING PARIS, Marcel Guillard, L ROSSAT.

9 1/4” (23.5cm) high, 8” (20.3cm) diameter.
