Product Description

Edwardian era sterling silver tankard, English hallmarks for London 1906.  The silversmith is James Parkes of 2 Vigo Street, London West.

This handsome tankard is of a subltly flared canister shape, rising from a stepped pedestal foot with a “S” scroll handle.  

The original presentation engraving is on the bottom of the tankard.  It reads:

John Neil Malcolm. 24 June 1908, from his Godfather, George Kemp.

4 1/4” (10.8cm) high, 3 1/8” (8cm) diameter at the base, not including the handle.
