Edwardian silver gilt cased traveling shot glass, hallmarked London 1907. Made for the retailers Drew & Sons (Samuel Summers Drew & Ernest Drew) of Piccadilly Circus and later Regent Street, London, UK. This unusual personal shot glass has five components: the outer case, press-fit outer cover, the threaded inner cover, a funnel and the etched glass shot glass. As the inner cover is threaded it will travel without leaking. All four of the metal components are silver gilt and hallmarked sterling silver. The shot glass is in perfect condition and there is minor wear only to the gilding. Monogrammed on the cover “KS” in interwoven Script. Perfectly pocket size; a unique one-of-a-kind gift for the gentleman with everything! The case is 2 7/8” (7.3cm) high, 1 7/8” (4.8cm) diameter at the widest.
