Product Description

English sterling silver dresser / jewellery box, hallmarked Birmingham 1906.  From the prolific silversmiths of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Henry Matthews of Vittoria Street, Birmingham.  

The hinged cover has floral scrolling framing the monogram “MAW” in Script, with a scrolled reticulated rim.  The bracket feet are also pierced and the interior is lined with dark purple velvet.  The box is in good condition.

4 1/2” (11.4cm) by 3 1/8” (8cm), 1 3/4” (4.5cm) high.
