Edwardian era sterling silver place card / menu holders, English hallmark dated for Birmingham 1906.  From the silversmith William Harrison Walter of Newgate Street, London, in business circa 1897-1906.  These handsome place card holders are elegantly trimmed with a gadrooned edge and are large enough to comfortably hold a place card or a menu card.

The individual holders are 3 1/2” (8.9cm) wide, 1 1/2” (3.8cm) deep, 

1 3/4” (4.5cm) high.
