Edwardian sterling silver tea caddy, English hallmarks for London 1901.  Made by the silversmith firm of Josiah Williams & Co. (George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton) of Three Queens Lane and Bristol & Thavies Inn, London EC, England.  Retailed by MacKay & Chisholm of Princes Street, in business circa 1834-1941 in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Mackay & Chisholm were silversmiths in their own right, as well as watchmakers and retailers of fine silver goods and jewellery.  The tea caddy is decorated in repousse work with florals and scrolling framing three blank convex ovals suitable for engraving.  This motif is repeated three times around, with no definitive front or back. Both the caddy and cover are fully hallmarked and it is in fine condition.  The Mackay & Chisholm identifier is located on the bottom of the tea caddy.
