Substantial Edwardian era sterling silver tray, English hallmarked for Sheffield 1909.  The silversmith is Maple & Co. of Tottenham Court Road, London, in business circa 1907-39.

The tray is of significant weight and is without monograms or presentation engravings;  it would be a handsome choice for a decanter collection, a tray for an ottoman, or a presentation / trophy piece as it has a large surface for an engraved message.
