Set of four Ellis Brothers silver plate candlesticks, American early 20th century.

Designed in an exuberant George VI style, with scrolling foliate decorations through. 

The bobeches are removable for easy cleaning.

Three of the candlesticks are trademarked with a shell and Ellis Bros, one of the symbols used by Ellis Brothers in New York.  The fourth, matching candlestick is marked Birks-Ellis, the Canadian retail partnership that started in 1928.

11 1/2” (29.2cm) high, 5 1/2” (14cm) diameter at the base.
