Product NameEllis Sterling Silver Puritan Flatware For 12
Product Description

A substantial set of sterling silver flatware for 12, Canadian made circa 1920-30.  This pattern is named Puritan, or Westminster, depending on the manufacturer.  Made by both P.W. Ellis & Co and Roden Brothers, both of Toronto, Canada.  This set is a mix of both manufactures, 86 pieces of Ellis and 34 pieces of Roden.  Without a close examination of the trademarks there is no difference between the manufacturers.

The handsome pattern is late Edwardian, almost Art Deco in style.  This large set is comprised of 12 place settings of 10 pieces per place setting (less 2 butter knives), plus 2 serving spoons, 120 pieces in all.

The set is in good condition with minor dents on some of the knife handles.  Wear consistent with age and use.

The handsome box to accommodate it all is available separately.
