English Art Deco sterling silver picture frame, hallmarked Birmingham 1928.  From the silversmith firm of Samuel M. Levi in business circa 1889-1939, of Frederick Street and Vyse Street, Birmingham, England.  The picture frame is decorated with both engined turned engraving and floral scrolling with a monogram in a central oval at the top.  The frame has the original brown velvet backing, with minor dents; wear consistent with age and use.

The overall dimensions are 11 3/4” (29.8cm) by 8” (20.3cm).

The internal dimensions are 11” (28cm) by 7 1/8” (18.1cm).
