English Art Deco sterling silver picture frame, hallmarked Birmingham 1936. From the silversmith firm of Charles S. Green & Co. Ltd., in business circa 1903-1987 with locations in both Birmingham and London. This handsome picture frame has an engine turned engraved border with a rectangular plaque suitable for a future engraving. The overall dimensions are 8 7/8” (22.5cm) by 6 7/8” (17.5cm). The internal dimensions are 8” (20.3cm) by 6” (15.2cm).
