Product Description

English blue and white earthenware platter, “Dromedary” pattern.  Marked only with an impressed, double struck number 18.  Attributed to John & Richard Riley Of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, circa 1814-28.  The pattern features a middle eastern scene with a camel and handler in the foreground and pyramids in the background, with a large floral border.

The platter is in very good condition.

19 1/4” (48.9cm) by 14” (35.5cm).
