Georgian inspired English sterling silver muffin dish, hallmarked Sheffield 1939.  The classic late Georgian design incorporates a gently lobed cover and the dish is embellished with a substantial gadroon and shell border.  Compete with the internal tray.  Made by the prolific silversmiths Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Harrison) of Norfolk and Carver Streets, Sheffield, established in 1808.
