Edwardian era sterling silver pedestal rose bowl / presentation bowl.  English hallmarked for London 1902, from the silversmiths Wakely & Wheeler (James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler) of Hatton Garden, London and Forde Street, Dublin.

The bowl is elaborately chased and engraved with flowers, foliage and scrolls in the Rococo style, framing two empty cartouches suitable for a presentation monogram.  The original wire mesh grate is beneficial for flower arranging and is easily removed to use the bowl without it.

11” (28cm) diameter, 7” (17.8cm) high.
