Product Description

English sterling silver picture frame, hallmarked Birmingham 1923.  From the silversmith firm of A. & J. Zimmerman Ltd. (Arthur & John Zimmerman) in business circa 1889-1929, of Regent Place, Birmingham, England.  The unadorned picture frame has the potential for a monogram or a longer engraved presentation message, with the original oak back.  The frame has minor dents; wear consistent with age and use.  

The overall dimensions are 9 1/4” (23.5cm) by 7 1/4” (18.4cm).

The internal dimensions are 8” (20.3cm) by 6” (15.3cm).
