Acid etched cameo glass inkwell with hinged gilt metal lid.  Unmarked, of European origin, circa 1890.  The outer layer of glass is red, cut away to clear with the highlights outlined with gilding depicting flowers in bloom on branches of a shrub.

5” (12.7cm) high, 4” (10.1cm) diameter.
